About Acute Med

This website is written and maintained by a group of UK-based senior physicians, surgeons, nurses, a pharmacist and a psychiatrist. All work on a daily basis in acute care - in acute or general medicine, emergency medicine, psychiatry or neurosurgery. They are assisted by a group of F1s and senior medical students. It was launched on 13th February, 2009 at Warwick Hospital, UK. It is non-profit making. It has benefited from an educational grant from Sanofi-Aventis
